Students and Young Adults
Our student group Rooted is a welcoming community that embraces Christians and those interested in Christianity. We provide a supportive environment for students to learn and connect with one another, regardless of their background or beliefs. Hospitality is a central point of our student group, as we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels heard and valued.

Roman & Bella Tanzer are our student workers and the vision for the student work flows from their heart for hospitality and to help people grow in their faith. They are originally from Austria, so also have a heart for helping international students find a home in Edinburgh.
Why the name Rooted? Our vision is to see young people both rooted in Jesus and rooted in community. The group is created as a space for students/young adults to explore faith, wrestle with the important question of life and to enjoy community, both within Rooted and the wider church family.
