Rest

This week Rupert Ward continues the mini-series ‘Fruitfulness’ with a talk titled ‘Rest’. Our scripture this week is Mark 6v30-32, where the feeding of the 5000 has just taken place and Jesus says ‘time to take a break’. In our everyday lives we are busier than ever, always something to do, somewhere to be. Rupert emphasises the need to rest, to take time with others in community, away from the busy-ness of life. He also offers a couple of practices to help us find and maintain ‘rest’, even in the midst of the busy-ness.
