This sermon concluded our series on the “I AM” statements in John’s gospel, looking at human flourishing (and the opposite of “human withering”).  Why does Jesus say he is the *true* vine? What is our part in our flourishing?  What might pull us away?  This sermon introduces a proposal for a community “way of life” that offers postures and practices for human flourishing, as we journey through life, together in community.
