Luke 12: 27

This week Kirsty and Andrew Hook will be continuing our sermon series ‘Raising the Sail’ and talking about the spiritual practice of slowing down. Their talk is titled ‘Consider the wild flowers, look how they grow: slowing down and our internal noise’.

Our scripture for this week is from Luke 12;27. As you read over this verse you may like to consider the following questions;

• What helps to slow you down?
• What helps you to be present, present to the presence of God?

‘Look how the wild flowers grow! They don’t work hard to make their clothes. But I tell you Solomon with all his wealth wasn’t as well clothed as one of these flowers.’
