1 Peter 3: 15

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” I Peter 3 vs 15 (New international version)
As you read this verse you might like to consider the following questions;
- How does this piece of advice on evangelism from Peter make you feel? Are you feeling confident in sharing your faith with anyone that asks… you have the alpha book in your back pocket and you’re ready to lead them to Jesus? Or does this verse send shivers of fear down your spine and cause you to look for the nearest exit? Does it trigger that voice of shame that points out the areas you feel unprepared or hypocritical in?
- What if the verse said; ‘People are going to look at you and wonder why your life looks different? Are you ready to tell them why you live differently?’ How does that question make you feel?
