This week Rupert Ward will be speaking to us and introducing a new mini-series called ‘Be’.

We often get caught up in the busyness of our lives, always rushing to do more, achieve more, and be more productive. But we forget that our being – our character, our values, our presence – is the foundation of everything we do. We don’t have to force it or push ourselves to the brink of exhaustion. Instead, we can trust that our actions will flow from a deep sense of purpose and identity.

As you read through this verse you might like to savor one word or phrase that you have noticed more than others. As you think about this word or phrase you could begin pondering what God might be saying to you through this. How is this word speaking to your life?

‘As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.  But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;’

(New International Version)
