“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” Benjamin Franklin

Everyday is a school day.  Or so the saying goes.

Learning doesn’t stop when we leave school or university, but is a life-long activity.  The ways in which learn will undoubtedly change throughout our lives and also depends on the kind of personality we have.  Sometimes instruction is what is needed; other times it might be doing something and reflecting on it afterwards with someone.

Learning happens in life, if we pay attention, stop and reflect.  It can also happen when we attend courses or programs.

In CCE we value all the above and seek to make opportunities for people to engage in whatever way is helpful for them.  This can be sermons on Sundays, training courses or groups we run from time to time, or giving people opportunities to try things out (like leading a small group, going on an overseas trip, speaking or leading on a Sunday or mentoring someone else).

If you are interested in what current opportunities there are for training or learning, please contact Rupert Ward.
